249 Yeas, 25 Nays

We thank you for your support!

The Baldwinsville Public Library's proposed property tax levy of $1,369,500 for fiscal year 2014-2015 was approved by voters of the Baldwinsville School District on May 1 by a vote of 249 to 25.  It is estimated that for homes in the school district with $100,000 market value in the towns of Lysander, Van Buren, and Clay, the total library tax bill for 2014-2015 will be $63.55.  This is an anticipated increase of 55 cents per year over last year’s total bill.

One trustee seat was also voted upon:   Linda Clarkson was elected for a five-year term to the seat currently held by Trustee Donna Arseneau, with 251 votes.  She ran unopposed.

Joan Ramin and JoAnn Oakes were Permanent Chairs of the Election and Jeanne Comerford and Theresa Gross served as Chief Election Inspectors.
