…lived a man named Dave.
Dave was a kind man who believed in helping his neighbors. And they thanked him and they were pleased.
It may seem like a bit of a fairy tale but Dave is real. Dave Fishwick, to be exact, now a well-known figure in Britain whose success was achieved through hard work and determination.
Bank of Dave (2023) is about his efforts to establish a community bank to make loans to Burnley folks who could not get loans from large, established British banking institutions.
Rory Kinnear gives a pitch-perfect performance as Dave, aided by a great supporting cast.
And Def Leppard fans? Gotcha covered!
